🔥 2024 - DJ Sets live on Twitch...

🔥 In July 2024, I noticed that Twitch were launching a new DJ category on 8th August 2024 - #808onTwitch.

🔥 I was already a Twitch Partner from my music channel, so rather than mix it all up, I wanted to keep it separate, like my gaming channel, so I could game, play live music, and DJ from three separate spaces.

🔥 I siezed the opportunity to start live streaming DJ sets. It's mostly open format, Rock/Pop, but also EDM, House, Trance, Mainstage, Metal, live mashups. Anything goes!

🔥 My YouTube Channel SMF Remixes, is where I've uploaded all my bootleg remixes, dance remixes and anything else, since it was started back in 2016. This helped me learn about acapellas, and remixing further. 

🔥 In August of 2024, I became a Twitch Partner on my DJ channel, and continue to build on my progress so far.  Join me and get involved in the good community vibe!

🔥 I come from Vinyl and CDJs, but these days much prefer controllers and software.

🔥 2014- 2019 | The Mobile DJ Years

🔥 I also setup and founded a mobile DJ company Fast Forward Mobile Disco from 2014-2018 alongside my brother. 

🔥 I've only documented a few DJ gigs I've done, as I didn't really carry a camera about with me, just got on with the job.  here are a few shots...

🔥 I learnt a great deal about working a crowd, and playing open format DJ sets. 

🔥 I invested in a new laptop and a Pioneer DDJ-SR controller. 

🔥 In 2019, I went solo as a DJ and continued to take on mobile DJ bookings throughout that year.

🔥 Sadly, when the pandemic hit during 2020, my DJ'ing was put on hold for a few years. 

🔥 2012-2014 | Humble Beginnings

🔥 I started out in 2012 with a DJ Controller from Denon, the MC3000.

🔥 I would sit and learn as much as I could about beat matching, filters, EQ, and everything I was learning about from making production tracks as a session musician. 

🔥 I used this until I got my Pioneer gear.
